  American (Northern White Cedar) - Thuja occidentalis - Native eastern US and Canada shrub makes an excellent hedge.  Grows naturally in a pyramidal shape with flat foliage.  Prefers heavy damp soils, but will do well in lighter soils.  Fast growing.  Hardy to -40F.  Plant height: 20ft.
