Eagle Tree (Angel Trumpet) - Brugmansia sanguinea - Perennial shrub - South American native with huge pendulous trumpet shaped blooms with a pleasant fragrance.  Can be used as an outdoor plant in Zone 8 and southward and may stand some frost, coming back in the spring, but best as a potted plant north.  Very attractive and showy.  This variety used to be grouped with the Daturas, but has acquired its own class.  This particular variety has deep red flowers with yellow veins and can be a long-lived shrub reaching up to 12ft.  under the right conditions.  Full sun; plant height:12ft.
