An odd-looking deciduous tree, native to the Himalayas, having bright green
pinnate leaves and producing long blue edible seed pods resembling crooked

tolerant and will grow in a variety of soil types as long as they are well-drained,
but needs to be protected from cold winter winds. Hardy to -10F (-23.3C);
