Chinese rubber tree, Du zhong
Eucommia - Eucommia
ulmoides - Perennial - Medicinal - A hardy tree reaching 60ft. in height,
this plant is used in Chinese medicine as a liver & kidney tonic and
to lower high blood pressure. Seeds need to be stratified for 2-3 months
at 40 degrees for germination, or sow outside in the fall for spring crop.
Full sun; plant height: 60ft. mature.
