Indian Tobacco (Frengiotu, Blaaslobelia) Lobelia inflata - Perennial;  Native species with small pink blooms in the summer.  Does well in drought or shade.   The plant is a traditional American Indian remedy for asthma and bronchitis, containing the alkaline lobeline, which is an ingredient in many commercially produced anti-smoking aids.  Poultices made from the leaves have been used to treat pleurisy and rheumatism.
