Mullien - Verbascum thapsus - Great Mullien, Jupiter's Staff, Adam's flannel - Perennial -  Medicinal - Bright yellow flower spikes rise from wooly leaves that were once used to make candle wicks or soaked in suet to make torches.  Today, mullien tea is used to treat coughs, colds and sore throats. Hardy to -20F (-28.8C); full sun;  height: 48in.
