Purple Bugle (Ajuga reptans)  Perennial  - A great ground cover, growing to only 4 inches tall, but spreading to 24 inches. Bronze green foliage spreads in rosette fashion with deep violet whorled spikes appearing in spring.  Hardy to -30F (-34.4C)
